Can Headphones Be Modular? Absolutely!
This is a radically new approach to the headphones Beoplay H100 that we are used to replacing rather than upgrading. Now the situation has changed. Almost everything in this design can be updated: the battery, headband, ear cushions, glass surfaces, drivers, and board. This simplifies repairs, allows you to improve your favorite gadget, and extend its life for decades.
The company admits that durability, easy maintenance, and repairability have become their priorities. On one hand, this is facilitated by the modular design, and on the other, by updatable software that will allow the headphones to adapt and evolve alongside new technologies. Additionally, Bang & Olufsen plans to integrate the wireless headphones with 3-Device Multipoint technology (connecting to multiple sound sources).
Important to Know: The standard warranty for the headphones is 3 years, but if you join the extended Beocare program (available for free in the B&O app), the period increases to 5 years.
Not Just Comfortable, But Timeless Design
Do you know what inspired designers to create something not just ergonomic but timeless? Jewelry. The goal was achieved through a combination of soft lambskin leather, shiny aluminum, and tempered glass. And to ensure you can take the gadget with you everywhere without fear of scratching or breaking it, it comes with a lightweight and luxurious leather case. Always bring your favorite music with you!
By the way, if you don’t use the headphones but forget to put them in the case, the power-saving mode is activated. This can extend the charge for 90 days — and at any moment, the gadget will be ready for use. In this case, the device completely shuts down, remaining operational for up to a year or longer.
On the side of the headphones is a tempered glass touch display — it can’t be scratched even with great effort. The discs and control buttons are tactile and easily accessible. And since the inside of the headband is covered with knit fabric, excellent ventilation is ensured — even in the heat it feels comfortable.
As for the color, you can choose one of two current shades: Infinite Black (timeless classic), and Hourglass Sand (Scandi style). Sunset Apricot (warm, like a delightful summer sunset) is not available in Cyprus at the moment.
